It consists of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid as its primary constituents.

Dosage 

Take Augmentin 500 mg-125 mg tablet as prescribed by your physician. 

Swallow it whole with a glass of water. 

Do not break, crush, or chew the medication.

You should take Augmentin 500-125 mg after a meal to prevent stomach upset. 

For optimal benefits, you should take it at a specified time and not exceed the dosage suggested by your doctor.

Missed Dose

It is crucial not to miss antibiotic doses because they can fail the treatment.
