Saheli 30 mg is a Selective Estrogen Receptive Modulator (SERP).

It consists of Centchroman as its primary component. 

Due to its efficiency, it is widely used for contraceptive purposes. 

It is also used for regulating excessive uterine bleeding in women. 

Working of Saheli 30 mg

Saheli 30 mg belongs to the Selective Estrogen Receptive Modulators (SERPs) class.

These medicines have an antiestrogenic effect on the endometrium, which hinders the implantation of the fertilized egg. 

It accelerates the transport of the ovum from the fallopian tubes to the endometrial cavity before implantation.

This medicine does not contain any hormones in it.


Saheli 30 mg comes in tablet form, to be taken orally.

For contraceptive purposes, take it twice a week for the first twelve weeks.

From the thirteenth week, reduce the dosage to one pill per week.

For dysfunctional uterine bleeding, the dosage depends on the severity of the condition.

If you miss a dose, just take it as soon as you recall.

If the pill is missed by one or more days but less than seven days, continue with the regular schedule and use an alternative contraceptive (such as condoms) until the next period.

If a pill is missed for more than seven days, one should begin retaking the medication.

However, adhere to your physician's prescription for optimal results.
